Starting Your Own Fantasy Football League

America’s favorite game is about to be in season and if you’ve been counting down the days until football odds are you’re part of a fantasy league. If you’re considering starting one of your own consider the following…
You need space: Does your house have a room large enough to host upwards of 20 people at a time? Basements work great as do covered patios but check with the wife first to make sure she won’t mind.
You need internet: In order to communicate with other players and check stats weekly you’ll need home internet. Consider high-speed DSL or Satellite Star Internet, depending where you live and what your needs are.
You need time: Running a league is a huge time commitment, up to 10-15 hours per week. If you’re really passionate about the game and your friends you’re golden but think long and hard about whether or not you’ve got the free time it takes.
Good luck hosting your first fantasy league and remember, the point is to have fun with your friends and enjoy some football while you’re at it!
